Genesis 45:1-15

Shaun continues the series in Joseph with a dive into how Joseph forgives and embraces his brothers. When Joseph forgives his brothers, the focus is not on Joseph just wanting to move on or show his status. In order to forgive his brothers, Joseph has to lean near to his brothers and adopt a Kingdom-level view to show how God’s plan has played out individually for Joseph and how now it continues to play out for them together as family. Forgiveness is hard to enact on our own – it takes hard work to see it through.
