Jonah 1:1-16

Michael Vogel starts off a series in Jonah with God’s instruction to Jonah and Jonah’s response. Like Jonah, we try to rebel and disobey God’s commands by striking out on our own. Like with Jonah, God will respond to our defiance by forcing us to confront our limitations and then show mercy and give strength when we turn back to Him.
