1 Kings 17:1-7 and James 5:17

Shaun starts a sermon series on the life of Elijah with a look at his introduction to the Biblical narrative and James’ reflection on Elijah as “a man with a nature like ours”–Elijah’s mission in some ways echoes ours as we are to reveal the real God and His character, our obedience can lead to discomfort, and God is faithful to provide for us (though not always in the way we would most like).
