Psalms 22 and 23
Apologies. Due to A/V system challenges, there is not a recording for this week’s sermon.
Pastor emeritus Max Harris provided a sermon from both Psalm 22 and 23, noting lessons from their juxtaposition and the juxtaposition of crying out in anguish to rejoicing in peace and security. From lessons of Jesus’s quotations of the psalms and yet more excerpts throughout the Psalms, we see God inviting His children to bring their every emotion to him, even supplying words when they may be difficult to assemble. God is a listener, and the Psalms are one of His gifts to assist us in offering our heart to Him in all circumstances.
